It’s coming up to Halloween and there is so much to do. Starting with getting creative with the kids by carving pumpkins, trick or treating and even going to York Maze for the Hallowscream event that happens every year.

Bring pumpkins with you and let your children loose and create whatever they please. After carving your pumpkins you could decorate your lodge and transform it into something spooky. Dressing up with the kids is always lots of fun. If you have brought your fury-friend along with you, dress them up too.

Many events are going on in and around Hornsea at this time of the year. Hallowscream at York Maze is a terrifyingly entertaining night of fear. There is also a Spooky Woodland Trail at Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens, the home was built in the 1600s so it’s going to have a ghostly feel.
