It is officially the Autumn/Winter season at Hornsea Lakeside Lodges and we are getting ready to host some cosy getaways in our luxury log cabins.

Our luxury lodges allow the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and in colder temperatures, this becomes even more magical. Nothing beats snuggling up by a fire in a real log cabin on a cold winters evening.

Having a hot tub in every log cabin, means that our guests can make the most of the great outdoors, whatever the weather. You can relax and take in our beautiful 6-acre park without feeling the cold.

When you want to venture out of our holiday park, don’t panic about the colder climate. Hornsea may be a seaside town, but there are still plenty of activities on offer in East Yorkshire throughout the winter months.

In October, Hull plays host to Europe’s largest travelling fair. Hull fair lasts for a week and is great for thrill-seekers or for those who just want to take in the fairground atmosphere. Entry is free, although you will have to pay for rides.

From November, York will have its own Christmas market. This medieval town, is the perfect setting for Christmas shopping and its independent shops will help you to find a unique gift.

East Yorkshire is full of attractions including, stately homes, museums, activity centres and nature reserves. There is definitely something for all of the family, no matter what time of year.
